Tehran's defence officials said that the system would be deployed across the country in the near future, the Xinhua reports.
Lieutenant Commander of Khatamolanbia Air Defence Base Colonel Abolfazl Farahini said the hawk systems optimised by the Iranian experts have undergone warm-testing at Khondab nuclear facility near the central city of Arak and successfully hit their targets.
He said the test was aimed at assessing the level of preparedness of Iran’s defence systems deployed to defend Iran’s sensitive nuclear facilities.
